The books discussed at the end are both by Hilaire Belloc, The Great Heresies (one of my favourites) and Characters of the Reformation. The Chevalier mentions that, whilst Belloc is excellent on most matters, he was soft on the French Revolution because he was a relative of the Revolutionary, Danton. He recommends Bernard Faÿ's Louis XVI: Or the End of a World as a corrective to Belloc on the Revolution.
