The Chevaliers discussion of the differences between Canadien and Cajun culture is fascinating. He explains the origins of the civil parish, the cuisine, and the ways of evangelising the Cajuns of Louisiana.
Then he gives a short history of the Cajuns and why they were expelled from the Maritimes.
His description of Huey Long is good, but altogether too short. Of course, one could write a book about the Kingfish, and many have been written.
He points out that the 'rights' in the Constitution are not 'God given', but we do have a God given right to self defence.
He gives excellent advice to the young man discerning a vocation to the Priesthood. During it, however, he says that Catholics are never able to tell the truth about the situation in the Church. I think that's changed radically in the past few months.
His explanation of Corporatism is good, but he never mentions the Papal term for the Corporations, which is 'occupational groups'.
He also doesn't mention the Catholic trades unions in Europe that attempted to form the labour nucleus of the future Corporations, Guilds, or occupational groups.
His advice to the young political science student is quite interesting.
And to the last question, from a familiar name (I just sent him a Facebook friend request) both the Chevalier and Mr Frankini give some excellent advice.
