Roger Buck: Episode 6 - Of New Age Gnostics - and Galactic Lizards!

Mr Buck is the author of The Gentle Traditionalist and Cor Jesu Sacratissimum, both of which I highly recommend. This is the sixth episode of an ongoing series he is uploading to YouTube.

Here is his introduction to this episode.

Roger Buck, a convert from the New Age Movement to Catholicism explains why the New Age mentality is akin to the Gnostics of old. Buck was formerly a New Age activist, who, prior to his conversion, once lived at Findhorn in Scotland, probably the most famous New Age community in the world. This video discusses numerous key New Age themes and ideas and warns of how this new Gnosticism is subtly and insidiously robbing people - decent, good, kind people - of true Christianity. Although the video comes from a traditional Catholic perspective, Buck’s intimate, first-hand experience as a “New Age insider” for nearly twenty years may be illumining to Christians of all persuasions including Evangelicals, as well as other Conservatives who are rightly alarmed that New Age-ism represents a progressive and liberal phenomenon rapidly eroding Western Christian tradition. And this is why Galactic Lizards are more than just harmless New Age nonsense ...

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
