Chevalier Charles Coulombe Discussing Mrs Solange Hertz's 'The Star-Spangled Heresy: Americanism'

The Chevalier and Mr Frankini discussing The Star Spangled Heresy: Americanism, by Mrs Solange Hertz. I cannot recommend this book highly enough! I read it shortly after it was first published, and am in the process of re-reading it right now. If you are the least bit interested in the crisis in the Catholic Church in these United States, read it!

Mrs Hertz (R+I+P) died in 2015 at the age of 95. I miss her. Whilst I never met her in person, we had a lively correspondence for some time. We were in basic agreement on most questions, tho' I never was able to accept her idea that electricity was Satanic. Also, on the French dynastic question she was a Providentialiste, whilst I am, of course, a Legitimiste.

(For those who don't know what these terms mean, I discussed them in my post, Fulfilment of a Promise, where I said,
There are three families who claim the Crown,...,  the House of Bourbon, the House of Orleans, and the Bonapartes. Plus there are the 'Providentialists' who believe that 'God will choose the King'. They were the first to be dismissed, because, whilst I truly believe that God chooses kings, he chooses them by descent in the royal family.
And Legitimists are supporters of the House of Bourbon.)

If you'd like to learn more about Mrs Hertz, here is her biography page at Tumblar House and an obituary from The Remnant.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
