Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
Amen! And I would add a few more. "No, you must not do that because it offends God and is not good for you" and, there is a God, His Name is Jesus Christ, and He knows you and loves you.
ReplyDeleteI happened to see a child today, leaving 8th grade and the middle school. This "hardened" child, who shouts and swears when he is frustrated, and is often a behavior problem such that he requires a special classroom, came into the room and threw his arms around all the staff, almost sobbing, because he must now leave the school and move on to high school.
We make an impact on the world when we make an impact on children. They so need us today, all of us. If I didn't have to work, I would still volunteer so as to spend time with children and young people today and encourage them, be kind to them. They so need it. God bless and keep our poor, vulnerable children today. They really do suffer. This includes high school age, because in point of fact they are really just tall children, not worldly wise as they appear.
