The Burial Cloths of Our Lord:The Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The atheists have done their best to 'debunk' the Shroud with no success. Much of the science behind proving its authenticity is covered in the article linked above, but here is a video by a Jewish photographer who was a member of STURP (Shroud of Turin Research Project). He went into the project a sceptic, sure it would be proven to be a fake. Not so! He became convinced that it is the Burial Cloth of Jesus Christ.

A photograph of the Shroud. It is actually a 'photographic negative' a fact which wasn't known until Secondo Pia took a photo of it in 1898 and discovered the 'negative properties.

The face from Pia's photograph. This creates a major problem for the debunkers. If the Shroud is a mediæval forgery, how was the forger able to create a negative centuries before the concept of photography was found?

And here is a link to Mr Schwortz's, the Jewish photographer mentioned above, website with masses of information on the Shroud.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
