Stalin Died on This Day, 1953

On the 13th anniversary of his signing the order for the Katyn Forest Massacre, Joseph Vissarionovich Zhughashvili, better known by his alias 'Stalin', went to meet his Master in Hell. Responsible for ca. 60 million deaths directly and indirectly, his crimes were (and are) covered up by his admirers and allies in the western media and in academia.

Despite the fact that he had blamed the nazis for the massacre at Katyn Forest, it was never brought up at the Nuremberg trials, lest the truth might come out and make our 'gallant ally', whom the communist fellow-traveller, FDR, referred to as 'Uncle Joe', look bad.

The souls of those 60 million still cry out for the truth to be known. Among them are the ca. 10 million Ukrainians, mostly Catholic, who were deliberately starved by this evil monster. Only in the last few decades have voices been raised to remember these people. Here is the first memorial to the victims of the Holodomor ever erected. It stands on the northwest corner of Sir Winston Churchill Square in Edmonton, Alberta. I have often recited Пам'ять вічна in front of it in memory of those millions who died at the hands of this vile man.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
