So Many Books, So Little Time!

A friend posted this on Facebook a few minutes ago,
Last night I had a dream that I remodelled a library. Best dream in a long time.
I responded,
Ach! I would never get done! It's bad enough just straightening the books in my room. I stop to read too often. A job that should be fifteen or twenty minutes can take hours!
I have books on my bedside table, a small bookshelf on my desk, a two level
bookshelf outside the door of my bedroom, and 868 books on my Kindle. Whilst there are a few accidental duplicates on the Kindle, that's still a lot of books!

The 'bookshelf' on my desk.

I've read many of them, some of which bear re-reading, but there are many I still intend to read. Unfortunately, I'm 70, so I'd better get to reading (and never buy or borrow another book!) if I want to finish them all!

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
